Chimera Bikz is probaly the best brand from custom frames brands. Why? Because we don't have anything in stock which we need to use in your frame. Everything is special made for you. Also we have the lowest waiting time & give a lifetime warranty!
Drawings are the best means of communicating your unique frame design. If you don't have drawings. You may want to email us and describe your design. Here are some things you should consider:

Try to answer as much as you can to help ua make the best bike for you. If you do not know the best choice for you on a particular detail, leave the field blank and we will make the most appropriate choice later. If you make bad choices, don't worry we'll notice them and make sure you do too.
Please look what you can pick up in custom frame from begining to the end:
Head tube:
Head tube is special made for your frame. You can choice size, lenght, some machining option. Everything. For example: 89,5mm head, standard 45x45 bearings, 3 slots on front, 1,5mm thick in the midle, 2mm thick on top and down. You can even choice the look of head ! Removable gyro tabs holes or normal welded - no problem for us.
Bottom Bracket:
Like head. Standard BB is 68mm (Euro, Spanish, Usa) and 72mm for Mid. You can choice look and outside diameters + some machining option.
Seat tube:
Lenght from 4'' to 14''. Your choice. We prefere standard look with a little inside machining. We do not preferU hols in seat tube. Usually we don't give warranty for seat tube with holes. You can choice look and the high of seat clamp area to.
Top tube (TT) / Down tube (DT)
Flat frames:
27mm or 30mm tubes. Bend, straight, no matter. We will made them for you. Only one thing is wall thickness which we pick from our experience. Small frame 27mm TT and 27mm DT = around 1,7kg frame. Longer frame we propose 27mm TT and 30mm DT.
Street frames
2,2kg for 30mmTT/30mm DT with CNC machining gusset in head area. 1,8kg / 1,9kg for park/dirt frames with 27mm/TT 30mm/DT and welded gussets. 1,9kg for street frames with 27mm/TT 30mm/DT with different gussets on TT and DT
Chain stays (CS)
18mm or 20mm.
You can choice they shape, size, look and bends. For big tire, for small sprocket, for crankless style. We will bend them special for you.
Seat stays (SS)
The same as chain stays. shape, size, look, conexion. For big tire, for small sprocket, for crankless style. We will bend them special for you.
6mm Dropouts:
Our dropouts are custom lasercut special for you frame ! You can design how they will look and we will make them the same as your design! 5cm slot? 20 holes? Your name? No problem ! Why 6mm? You can be sure that they won't bend from pegs and you will always put your back wheel with no problems!
Agels and BB high
Head angel (Ha)
The angle of the head against the ground. We can make any angles that you wanted
Seat tube angles (Sa)
The angle of the seat tube against the ground. We can make any angles that you wanted
Bottom Bracket height (BBH)
The bottom bracket height is the vertical distance from the center of the bottom bracket to the ground, and it expresses clearance of the frame over obstacles. The height of the bottom bracket is of concern when designing the frame. The height of the bottom bracket is the baseline for the rider's height while riding. Combined with the length of the cranks, it determines the bicycle's ground clearance.
A higher bottom bracket is useful for backwheel tricks. Height should be enough to prevent the pedals from coming in contact with the ground while cornering. A lower bottom bracket creates a lower center of gravity and allows for a larger frame without creating an uncomfortable standover height. Normal frame have around 11,80'' BBH and high BB frame around 13''BBH.
Tubes Conexions:
Gusset
All our frames have 'Chimera full tube system' on head and in BB on street frames. Check out site for more info about 'CHFTS' in BRAND section. In light custom street/dirt/park frames we prefre welded gussets. In flatland frames this is unnecessary. But if you broke few frames in head area, we will add gusset just in case. You can even design your gusset !
Down tube/ Bottom Bracket
You need to know how much space do you need under Down tube.This is very important for us. We can weld dowtube directly with BB or with seat tube. Or half on BB and half on seat post. There is no problem for use. You can give us spec in percentages. 50% on BB and 50% on Seat post. Or more space under DT so 30% on BB and 70%. Or like in The Used frame - 90% on seat tube.
Chain stays
The same like above: for exapmle - 0% so chain stays are center on BB. 50%BB so they will be straigh with top of BB. 100% so they are 50% with BB and 50% (recomended only for big sprocket size). Big or small tire? Tell us !
Seat stays.
They need to touch at least in 1% Top Tube. Conexion without welded seat stays on top tube is very weak and tends to crack.
Conexions beatween tubes
We can lasercut metal sheet with your name or with your face. We can make a little tube with small hole. Your choice. We don't make frames without those conexions. We can weld them wide for big tire or tightly for small tire.
Dropouts
For street/dirt/park frames. Standard chimera conexion with tubes welded outside dropouts. We can make other design, just ask. Cutted tube and welded small metal plate for smooth feat clearance.
For Flatland frame we can make a big cutted metal plate for smooth feat clearance or we can make a slim tubes without welded metal plates. We can weld a chain tensior for long M5 screw or make a removdable threads for normal gyrotabs.

Every paint is custom made. You can send us a high res pic and we will made the same color. No limits. If you wanted a raw frame with clearcoat paint please tell us this on begining !
The above examples and details of the frames are an examples of the work that we have done for individual customers. If you want to order a custom frame, send us a message using a CONTACT section, and take care to mention the maximum of information concerning the frame. You can send a provisional draft too! Chimera will contact you with an approximate price. After the order and before the manufacturing, a first deposit representing 30 % of the price must be paid. The manufacturing will begin only after full satisfaction and customer acceptance of project. Normaly it takes only 2-3 weeks for building your custom frame !
Additional rules:
When a client cancels the project when we began, is not possible to refund the advance. When we make the frame, we expect your last payment no later than one week after receiving the frame from painter. (and 'Raw' from welding). After this time, forfeit the advance irreversibly and frame is put up for sale. You can't return frame, without any reason because the product is custom made, and these products are not refundable for any reason within 7 working days. If you are a minor, please contact such a large purchase with your parents.
All Chimera Bikz 2010 frame have a lifetime warranty. Yes ! Custom frame with warranty! This warranty covers cracks only. Any bending, stripped out threads, twisting, denting or other such damage is deemed as a sign of rider abuse or incorrect maintenance and not product failure. Therefore not covered by this warranty. Warranty is covered only with accepted solid design. Shipping is done through EMS courier with tracking number.
